Green Energy

Since when has wind and solar been "new tech"  Man has used solar power for heat for, I don't know, a million years.  Problem is:  it doesn't work well at night.  And in a million years, we have not mastered that little difficulty.  Maybe in another million years we can figure it out.

Wind.  Now that is new.  It has only been around for about 4 thousand years. It has obvious problems too: Like when the wind doesn't blow, or it blows in the wrong direction.

Obama loves algae.  How much algae will it take to replace 20 millions barrels (42 gallons each) of crude--PER DAY.  How much algae will we need to replace the 2.2 quadrillion cubic feet of natural gas.  For our math challenged President, a quardrillion is one thousand trillion.

Obama has figured out that the world "algae" doesn't test well in focus groups, so now he says we need to use "biomass".  I guess he means ethanol.  Oops, been there, done that.  Complete failure. We could use the left over grease from fast food French Fry fryers.  All we need now is a mandate that we each eat 22 tons of french fries every day.
